The Indian EdTech industry, the third most funded globally after the US and China, was valued at USD $7.5 billion in 2024. It is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25.8%.

The exhibition will also host State Pavilions from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and others, showcasing the cultural and creative strengths of different regions.

As part of the upcoming Waves Summit, the Ministry is also launching the Create in India Challenge, Season 1, which will feature several ‘challenges’ aimed at fostering innovation and creativity.
