EU says Meta’s “pay or consent” ad model is in breach of Digital Markets Act

The EU has informed Meta that the company is in breach of the DMA. In case of non-compliance, the Commission can impose fines up to 10% of the gatekeeper’s total worldwide turnover. Such fines can go up to 20% in case of repeated infringement.
