TRAI responds to DoT on spectrum sharing recommendations

One of TRAI's primary objectives is to create a fair and equitable environment for all stakeholders in the telecom sector, and audits help ensure that all players are operating under the same rules and regulations.

Considering the request of stakeholders to permit inter-band spectrum sharing and leasing of spectrum in the country, TRAI decided to take up the issues and sent its recommendations to DoT on April 24, 2024.
