Ghatkopar hoarding case: Bombay HC finds no merit in claims of Ego Media owner, dismisses plea

Bhavesh Bhinde, director of Ego Media Pvt Ltd, which erected the Ghatkopar hoarding that claimed 17 lives after it crashed on a petrol pump on May 13, moved the sessions court seeking discharge from the case.

The Court said that there was no impairment in the mandated procedure, no legal infirmity in remand orders, and no merits in the contention that his arrest was illegal.

TikTok commits to permanently withdraw TikTok Lite Rewards programme from the EU

To comply with the Digital Services Act, TikTok has committed to permanently withdraw TikTok Lite Rewards programme from the EU after concerns were raised by the Commission in formal proceedings opened against TikTok on 22 April.

GMR Sports appoints Satyam Trivedi as chief executive officer
