It is to be noted that several media groups, including The New York Times, The Intercept and the Chicago have sued OpenAI for allegedly using their content without permission or compensation.

With the partnership, articles from The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Bon Appetit, and Wired will be available to ChatGPT and SearchGPT.

TRAI issues directives to access providers to curb misuse of messaging services
