DGGI Mumbai Zone sends GST notices to Dream 11 and Play Games 24/7

Nazara is aiming to identify opportunities within the gaming, esports and adtech arenas internationally particularly with a focus on established gaming IP’s/studios, those advancing in technologies like web3, Virtual Reality, and AI.

Dream11 has been accused of improper classification of online fantasy sports gaming activities. The DGGI Mumbai Zone, in its notice, said Dream11 failed to submit the requisite documents despite several reminders. To address these concerns, a detailed inspection was conducted by the DGGI on September 14, 2023.

IAMAI counters TRAI’s OTT revenue sharing demands as ‘rent-seeking’
