OOH media owners claim the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has disregarded the 2022 Advertising Policy Guidelines which is valid till 2031 and simply refers to the 2008 Advertising Policy Guidelines, which expired in 2018.

DoT notifies first set of rules under Telecom Act; telecom fund Digital Bharat Nidhi comes into effect

The Department of Telecommunications has notified and brought into effect the first set of rules under the Telecommunication Act, 2023- setting the functioning of the Digital Bharat Nidhi (DBN)- which replaces the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF).

Zee files application seeking recall of NCLT’s merger order with Sony

After the deal was terminated in January, Zee apparently has reached out to the Sony executives to reconsider the termination and has also offered for talks this month.

On August 27, Zee and Sony announced reaching a non-cash settlement, resolving all disputes over the failed merger, which includes withdrawing all respective claims and legal proceedings against each other.
