Chiradeep Gupta moves on from Unilever

Having started his career at Starcom Mediavest Group as management trainee where he rose to the position of regional director, ASEAN, Chiradeep Gupta then joined Unilever, where his stint went on to last for 13 years. He began in the position of global innovation manager.

Chiradeep Gupta was Unilever’s vice president, personal care head of media and digital & global integrated media strategy lead.

BharatPe’s CMO Parth Joshi resigns; set to launch own venture

Parth Joshi has vast global experience and has managed portfolios including Dettol. In a career spanning over 20 years, Joshi has been associated with top FMCG brands and has managed large brands such as Horlicks. 

Parth Joshi was appointed as BharatPe’s CMO in June 2021. He was also leading the ‘invest Bharatpe’ business.

Ogilvy names Kunal Jeswani as CEO, ASEAN

Kunal Jeswani, who joined Ogilvy in 2005, brings over two decades of experience across sectors which include CPG, telecom, auto, banking, and tourism. He also served as the CEO of Ogilvy India.

In his new role, Kunal Jeswani will focus on integrating resources across ASEAN, tapping into each market’s strengths to deliver creative, impactful solutions for clients.

Hero MotoCorp elevates Ashutosh Varma to CBO – India Business Unit

Ashutosh Varma, who holds an MBA in strategic marketing from the Indian School of Business, had started his career at The Timken Company as sales engineer, and was then promoted to national key account manager. Then, he joined Hero MotoCorp in 2009 as senior area manager, first for Bihar, and then Delhi, and was promoted to the position of zonal head, handling the east and west regions.

In this new role, Varma will lead the restructuring of IBU, and focus on accelerating growth, strengthening market leadership and enhancing business agility, stated a media report.

Kimberly-Clark’s Rajesh Gopal joins Tata Consumer Products as Global Chief Digital Officer

Rajesh Gopal began his career as a project manager at Federal Mogul and then joined i2 Technologies as a consultant. Then, he moved to Unilever as systems manager, and then rose to head as global platform director - finance and procurement. In this role, he delivered and managed technology solutions supporting 150+ countries in Unilever.

Rajesh Gopal previously led Kimberly-Clark as chief information officer.
