Contract manufacturing company Zetwerk has promoted Amrit Raj, formerly director of marketing and communication, to chief marketing officer, as per Raj’s LinkedIn profile. This appointment underscores Zetwerk’s commitment to brand building as it seeks to solidify its position as a leading player in the digital manufacturing space globally.
Previously, Raj held the position of director – marketing, corporate affairs and communication.
Raj joined Zetwerk in 2021 and is credited with building the company’s marketing function from the ground up. His purview included overseeing brand marketing, corporate communications, public policy, ESG efforts and strategically guiding Zetwerk’s brand identity and outreach.
The move comes as Zetwerk, founded in 2018, has grown rapidly into a digital manufacturing unicorn, with a reported revenue of Rs 11,500 crore for the fiscal year 2022-23.
Prior to Zetwerk, Raj worked at ByteDance Technologies and Nissan India.
Raj is also a published author. His book, “Indian Icon – A Cult Called Royal Enfield,” won the Gaja Capital Business Book Prize in 2022.
