Dilpreeta Vasudeva, head of marketing at Meta is one of the executives from the senior leadership team who has been affected by Meta’s layoffs in India. The layoffs are part of a restructuring effort to streamline operations and adapt to changing market conditions.
Recently, members of the senior leadership such as Avinash Pant director of marketing for India, and Saket Jha Saurabh, director of media partnerships, were also among those who were affected by the layoffs.
Alongside layoffs, the internet giants have also been seeing a series of resignations from the leadership team. This adds to the succession of notable exits from Meta India, following the exits of Ajit Mohan, the former India head, and Rajiv Aggarwal, the public policy head, both of whom left the organization towards the end of the previous year.
Vasudeva, who had joined tech giant and had taken up the role in July last year, announced her departure via LinkedIn.
Her post read, “Not the kind of impact I was hoping for. It’s with immense gratitude that I sign-off from Meta for a rewarding journey, fine culture and such stellar colleagues. Peace, love, happiness and many successes to my now ex-meta mates!”
Vasudeva is armed with an experience of two decades and started her career at Radisson in the client relations department. From there, she moved to Tech Mahindra and took up the role of assistant manager, global leadership cadre.
