Kimberly-Clark’s Rajesh Gopal joins Tata Consumer Products as Global Chief Digital Officer

Rajesh Gopal began his career as a project manager at Federal Mogul and then joined i2 Technologies as a consultant. Then, he moved to Unilever as systems manager, and then rose to head as global platform director - finance and procurement. In this role, he delivered and managed technology solutions supporting 150+ countries in Unilever.

Rajesh Gopal previously led Kimberly-Clark as chief information officer.

Tata-owned Voltas’s MD & CEO Pradeep Bakshi steps down

Pradeep Bakshi will be stepping down post the completion of his term in August.

Mukundan Menon, the executive director and head – room air conditioners business, will succeed Pradeep Bakshi.

S4 Capital’s Monks India names WPP’s Ketan Desai as MD

Desai joins Monks on 03 February 2025 and will report to Kenny Griffiths, Managing Director, APAC at Monks.

Ketan Desai previously served as WPP Grey’s chief operating officer.

Mahindra Finance appoints Anu Raj as the head of marketing

At present, Anu Raj leads leads Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company as chief marketing officer.

In her previous role, Anu Raj was Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company’s chief marketing officer.

Zomato onboards Shalin Bhatt to head the dining vertical

Shalin Bhatt, who holds an MBA from IIM-A, began his career at MediaCom Singapore, and then joined IDG Ventures India, and then Matrix Partners India. From there, he moved to Zomato as the associate vice president - user growth and marketing, and was elevated to lead as the head of growth.

Shalin Bhatt succeeded Sankalp Kathuria, who had stepped down last month.

Greaves Cotton names Parag Satpute as MD and Group CEO

In his new role, as appointed by Autocar Professional, Parag Satpute will oversee the operations of Greaves Engineering, Greaves Retail, Greaves Finance, Greaves Technologies, and Excel Controlinkage. Satpute began his career as a sales engineer at Grindwell Norton and went on to work across Sandvik Asia, Swedish Chamber of Commerce India, CII, ASSOCHAM and Bridgestone Mobility Solutions.

Parag Satpute’s role will be effective starting April 15 for a period of five years.
