WPP’s Mirum elevates Mihir Karkare as managing director

Mihir Karkare co-founded Social Wavelength in 2009, which would later become Mirum India after being acquired by WPP just before the agency's fifth anniversary.

Hareesh Tibrewala and Sanjay Mehta, who were the joint chief executive officers of the agency, have stepped down from their positions.

Amway onboards Rajneesh Chopra as its India chief

Rajneesh Chopra began his career at Revlon as assistant manager - sales and marketing, and then began his career as business development manager at Amway. Then he rose to the ranks to hold the position of vice president -sales.

Rajneesh Chopra succeeds Anshu Budhraja, who had resigned a few months back.

Paytm’s independent director Manju Agarwal resigns

At SBI, Manju Agarwal conceptualised and launched YONO, SBI’s digital bank, financial superstore and online marketplace. She led SBI’s partnership with Reliance Industries Ltd to set up Jio Payments Bank Ltd.

Manju Agarwal is also an independent director at Hinduja Leyland Finance, Vistaar Financial Services, IndiaIdeas.com, Gulf Oil Lubricants India, Polycab, Switch Mobility, CMS Infosytems and Glenmark Life.

Ogilvy Health ropes in Renata Maia as chief creative officer

In addition, Renata Maia will join Ogilvy's Worldwide Creative Council.

In her new role, Renata Maia will oversee the creative product across all Ogilvy Health offerings including brand development, strategy, experience and innovation, PR and influence, medical education, and market access.

FCB names Andrés Ordóñez as Global CCO; replacing Susan Credle, now IPG creative advisor

During his tenure at FCB Chicago, which started in 2019, the Columbia native Andres Ordóñez spearheaded initiatives that resulted in the addition of 40 new brands to the agency’s portfolio. His strategic leadership and ability to forge strong client relationships have been instrumental in positioning FCB as a creative powerhouse in the industry.

Andrés Ordóñez previously served as the Chief Creative Officer at FCB’s Chicago office.
