Yes Bank appoints Manish Jain as Executive Director

Manish Jain joined YES BANK in 2023 as the Country Head of the Wholesale Banking Group. During his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in enhancing the Wholesale Banking business, driving growth, and strengthening client relationships across key sectors, stated the company in a statement.

In his new role as Executive Director, Manish Jain will oversee key strategic initiatives and focus on expanding the Bank’s business horizons across verticals, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence.

Swiggy elevates Sidharth Bhakoo to Chief Business Officer – Food Marketplace

Sidharth Bhakoo began his career at GE Money as product manager - consumer durable and two wheeler, joined the Royal Bank of Scotland as program manager - business banking, India, and then he was elevated to senior relationship manager. Then, he joined Vodafone as senior manager - SME sales, Vodafone Business Services, and then was promoted to GM & sales head, Vodafone Business Services.

Previously, Sidharth Bhakoo led Swiggy as vice president – national business head.

Dentsu India names Abhirup Datta as CEO – Sokrati

Abhirup Datta’s focus will be on expanding Sokrati’s footprint and reinforcing its industry leadership.

Additionally, Prajaktta Gosavi, head – performance delivery practice, dentsu India, has been tasked with leading integrated solution delivery for the Performance Practice across Sokrati, iProspect, Carat, and dentsu X.

Renault India’s VP – Sales & Marketing Sudhir Malhotra steps down

Malhotra began his career as an executive at DCM Toyota and went on to work across Daewoo Motors India, Honda Siel Cars India and General Motors.

In early 2025, Francisco Hidalgo Marques, who is the managing director of the Dacia brand in Spain and Portugal will succeed him as the sales and marketing head.

P&G India appoints Rohini Venkateswaran as Chief Sales Officer

An alumnus of SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai, Rohini Venkateswaran currently serves as the Vice President & Country manager Procter & Gamble Gulf - East Gulf & Sales Strategy Gulf. In her current role, Venkateswaran is responsible for 5 countries in Gulf- Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar as General manager and UAE as overall sales strategy leader.

Rohini Venkateswaran, whose role will be effective beginning January 1, will be taking over the role from Sairamana Ponugoti.

Angel One’s chief growth officer Prabhakar Tiwari resigned; third key executive exit for the stockbroker this year

As the former CMO at Angel One, Prabhakar Tiwari created a highly agile, tech oriented and customer obsessed brand, and made Angel Broking a No. 1 brand in terms of market share.

Prabhakar Tiwari’s exit comes after Pravin Bathe, the chief compliance officer at Angel One put in his papers in October.

Vivek Mittal currently serves as global general counsel at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited, managing legal, ethics, compliance, and data privacy risks for the company.

Vivek Mittal will take over from Dev Bajpai, who had announced his early retirement in October this year.

Mahindra Group names Devendra Sharnagat as SVP – AI Division

Devendra Sharnagat, who began his career as a an account executive at Direxions Marketing Services, went on to work across HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank.

In his previous role at Mahindra Finance, Devendra Sharnagat led Data and Analytics function for financial services sector.

Naiyya Saggi began her career at International Bar Association and then joined McKinsey & Company as a business analyst. From there, she moved to The Bridgespan Group as a consultant. Also serving as an independent director at Welspun World, Saggi went on to found BabyChakra, where she was responsible for product, brand development and outreach.

The Board comprises of founder chairman Uday Reddy, chief business officer Deepak Goyal and industry veterans Dr. RS Sharma , Sanjay Kapoor, Francois Ortalo-Magne and Rahul Khanna.
