Godrej Industries has announced its second-quarter results (July and September) for FY 25, reporting 229 percent of profit to Rs 288 crore.
In fiscal year 2023-24, the company’s profit stood at Rs 87 in the second quarter.
The total income of the company has spiked by 20 percent to Rs 5,118 crore in Q2 FY 25 compared to Rs 4,257 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
The Godrej Consumer Product Limited (GCPL) registered consolidated sales of Rs 3,647 crore and the EBITDA grew by 8 percent year-on-year.
According to the Q2 earnings report, home care grew by 12 percent while personal care saw a growth of 3 percent.
“Household Insecticides volume grew in mid-single digit. Air Fresheners continue to consistently deliver strong double-digit volume growth. Fabric Care delivered strong double-digit volume growth,” the company said.
The revenue of the company’s chemical business increased to Rs 819 crore compared to Rs 683 crore in the same period last fiscal. “Magic Handwash continues to deliver strong double-digit volume growth and gain market share. Hair Colour volume grew in double digits,” the company added.
On the other hand, Godrej Properties Limited recorded a booking value of Rs 5,198 crore in Q2FY 25. GPL has added 10 new projects in year-to-date FY25 with a total estimated saleable area of approximately 13.9 million sq. ft. and a total estimated booking value potential of Rs 17,450 crore.
