Amrita Asrani, who led Reckitt as global brand marketing director – fabric care and fashion – strategy and innovation, has been appointed by Amway as chief marketing officer.

Asrani, who began her career at Abbott Healthcare, went on to work across GSK Consumer Healthcare, and ITC Limited.

During her stint at Reckitt, Asrani drove transformative growth in emerging D2C channels and designing a purpose-led global disruptive innovation pipeline.

She drove 3X growth by building a e-Fashion Shopper Ecosystem Business Model. She led the re-invention roadmap to launch Vanish as a Digital Native brand in India, China & Japan.

As the head – marketing, business strategy & NPD- FMCG health & wellness foods & beverages at ITC Limited, Asrani led ITC’s diversification into Health F&B, Functional and Fortified F&B and Specialized Nutrition through Disruptive Health & Wellness Platforms.

She spearheading high-growth consumer health benefit opportunities in ‘Specialized Food & Nutrition’ categories across Kids Health, Diabetes, Heart Health, Weight Management, Cognition, Immunity & Digestive Health.

She pioneered new business models for consumerizing FMCG Health & Wellness Foods & Beverages & creating the Right-To-Win for ITC.

She pursued micro-targeting & consumer segmentation strategies as part of precision oriented Marketing Program to accelerate trial and adoption.
