Star India initiates arbitration against Zee over failed $1.4 billion ICC deal

Star India, on September 16, filed a 'statement of case' before London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) in which it declared termination of the alliance agreement and sought the damages in the now-terminated ICC TV rights deal case, from Zee.

Star India has claimed that Zee is in non-compliance with the terms of the agreement dated August 26, 2022, under the Arbitration Rules of London Court.

Delhi High Court orders Ashneer Grover to take down defamatory tweet against SBI chairman, BharatPe

Grover on March 12 tweeted, “SBI Chairmen seem to be petty people. And something very wrong at their core. I learnt it the hard way. So did SC. ;)” 

The High Court in its order, said that Grover cannot destroy BharatPe’s reputation and his tweet against the SBI chairman was “completely avoidable,” as per reports.

As per an August 14 SEBI order, Chandra and Goenka was barred from holding the position of a director or a KMP (Key Management Personnel) in Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, Zee Media Corporation Ltd, Zee Studios Ltd. (wholly owned subsidiary of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.); Zee Akaash News Pvt Ltd (wholly owned subsidiary of Zee Media Corporation Ltd.).
